    Know what’s in every pouch

Thomas key list (Nuts, Egg, Dairy, Tomato, Mushroom, Gluten) plus soy, sesame, and fish. Always read the pouch — recipes and brands can change.

    Thaw & cook

    From freezer to plate, safely

Vacuum-sealed food needs the right thaw. Follow the pouch label — especially for fish.

    ⚠️ Salmon & fish — keep frozen

    1. Keep sealed pouches frozen until you’re ready to use them.
    2. Fridge thaw: remove fish entirely from the vacuum bag, then thaw in the refrigerator.
    3. Cold-water thaw: you may keep it sealed under cold running water; remove from the bag immediately once thawed.
    4. Never thaw vacuum-sealed fish at room temperature.
    5. Then bake or pan-sear as you like — crisp the edges, finish with lemon.

    🍗 Chicken, turkey & sides

    • Thaw overnight in the fridge (in or out of the bag is fine for these).
    • Reheat to 165°F — skillet, oven (~350°F covered), air fryer, or microwave.
    • Green beans, snap peas, carrots: quick sauté or microwave; oven to re-crisp.
    • Stuffing & rice: reheat covered; splash of water or stock if needed.
    • Parm smashed cauliflower & hot honey sweet potatoes: prefer oven/air fryer to re-crisp.
    • Chili crunch soba: gentle reheat with a splash of water so noodles don’t dry out.
    • Cooking fats: we use butter and/or extra virgin olive oil only — no seed oils.

    Farm-to-freezer, not factory-to-fridge.

We’re building Fired Up Fuel in Fairfield County with a simple promise: better ingredients, honest macros, and food that makes you want to train, work, and live hard.

Local CT farms (partners coming soon) Vacuum-sealed portions High protein · lower carb Built for everyone

Why components beat a locked tray

One night you want teriyaki salmon with snap peas. The next, smoked turkey with cranberry stuffing. Or just stuffing and green beans about an hour before you train. You’re in control of the plate — and the macros. Every recipe is cooked in butter and/or extra virgin olive oil — no seed oils.

Salmon is responsibly sourced (not a Connecticut crop) — we’ll never pretend otherwise. Produce and poultry partnerships with local Connecticut farms are on the way; affiliation-style labels will name them once those relationships are real.

This isn’t bodybuilder-only food. It’s clean fuel for parents, professionals, athletes, and anyone who’s done with boring “healthy” meals.

    FAQ

    Straight answers

How far ahead do I need to order?

At least 3 days. Day 1 we cook, Day 2 we freeze overnight, Day 3 we ship (or you pick up local). That keeps quality high and food safety tight.

    Do you ship nationwide?

That’s the plan: UPS 2nd Day Air in insulated boxes with dry ice. Shipping starts at a $12.99 base plus a per-pouch adder by region (Northeast $1.00, Midwest/South $2.25, West $3.75). 12-pouch minimum for shipped boxes. Free shipping at $175 food subtotal or 18+ pouches. Local Fairfield County pickup has no ship fee. Interstate meat shipping may need additional licensing — we’ll confirm before we promise every ZIP.

Why vacuum-sealed parts instead of full trays?

So you can mix proteins and sides night to night, track macros pouch-by-pouch, and only heat what you want. It’s also lighter packaging than dual-oven trays.

Is the stuffing year-round? Are there nuts or egg?

Yes — cranberry stuffing is on the menu year-round. The recipe has no nuts, but it does contain egg (used as a binder) and dairy (butter) and gluten (wheat bread). We don’t claim a nut-free facility unless dedicated controls are in place. Great as a side or as a carb-forward option ~60–90 minutes before training (general tip, not medical advice).

    Are the macros exact?

They’re estimates based on standard nutrition data for cooked edible portions. We’ll refine with nutrition software / lab testing before printing full FDA Nutrition Facts panels for sale.

Are you licensed / which farms do you use?

We’re building the licensed commercial kitchen path and local farm partnerships now. This site doesn’t claim current certifications or named farm affiliations yet — when partners are confirmed, you’ll see them on labels and here.

    What about allergens & gluten-free?

Each pouch will list major-9 allergens plus Thomas’s key list (Nuts, Egg, Dairy, Tomato, Mushroom, Gluten). Butter/dairy shows up in many recipes; cranberry stuffing contains egg (binder); salmon = fish; teriyaki & standard soba = gluten/soy; sesame carrots = sesame; miso peas = soy (gluten depends on miso brand). Use the menu allergy filter and matrix. Always read the pouch — recipes and brands can change.
